  1. This consent would be disastrous for Marlow. The increased traffic would be a problem in an area already extremely congested at times. The damaged to wildlife in a green belt area of great beauty is unthinkable .
Very worrying from the flooding point of view with so much building on a flood plain.
We already have film studios in Wycombe, why more.
Marlow is totally the wrong place for this film studio.

  2. Having worked at Shepperton Film Studios for over 40 years , I know how disgustingly untidy and messy a film studio becomes . In my experience, the majority of people who work in these places live
far away and need to use cars to and from work. The main reason being that long working days in the film industry do not tie in with public transport times, so traffic will come and go at all hours. Also because most of the working staff do not live locally ,the care taken towards the local environment will be less important. This will not provide jobs for the local inhabitants so do we really want to exchange our wonderful rural areas for a noisy, ugly expanse of modern buildings and unsightly film sets on green belt land .Any film facility would require a back lot which would become an eyesore.

  3. I strongly object to the building of the proposed film studios in Little Marlow. Not only because of the ruination of our local green belt with ugly warehouse type buildings, but with the inevitable increase in traffic in the area . I live in Flackwell Heath which is a known short cut, via Sheepridge Lane to the A4155 , where the studio would be . This is already a very busy route. The increase in traffic would impact on the health and safety of children attending two schools and nurseries in the village. This is a very rural area and a film studio is , by nature, a noisy and polluting industry and having worked in this sort of environment I have experienced this first hand.
